This is our annual in camera edit Film Fights Con Super Collaboration movie. A bunch of old school film fighters got together this year in New York City to party and hang out. While we we there, we broke into group and made a short improvised movie that could not be edited in a computer at all. Each group was given an old film fights title and a specific location that had to be in the film.

Do not use "eye of the tiger" as your theme song. In fact, the less likely the song would be featured in a real montage the better.

Entries from our 1st Annual Film Fights Con movie making challenge.

We split into 5 groups, each comprised of people who had never worked with each other before. A camera person, a driver, and 2-3 other folks.

The rules for the fight were to get your props from a local thrift sale, and use them in your movie. You couldn't edit, just like the good old days, the movie had to be created completely raw off the tape itself.

Thanks to film group NNC for making this week's Heavyweight Review show. Here are there comments and a link to the video.

I want to mention 3 things...

Firstly... I couldn't download CPP's video so when we go to it it is a black screen, we still reviewed it, just no little highlight reel, or what have you...

Secondly, I did edit this in windows movie maker... why? Well, I simply wanted to shotgun this together quickly, I spent maybe 25-30 minutes on this inbetween writing term papers.

Thirdly, Whoever the last last LW submission was, you were excluded. Be on time and this wont happen next time. ;-)

Week 74 Heavyweight Review Show

Our very own "Anti Logic" whipped up a review show for this week! Here's what he's got to say for himself.

Thats right! IT'S THE HEAVYWEIGHT REVIEW SHOW! Complete with randomy goodness!

It runs about 20 minutes in length which equals roughly 4 minutes per movie which seems pretty fair to me! (Less actually due to the intro and other things) The quality is pretty poor though, as to get the file size down to something that was reasonably okay.

The order of the reviews are as follow:

2.Saturnine
3. Revolution
4. A-OK
5. Newmanmedia

Also, we use our patent pending ONE TO AWESOME SCALE to rate all of the movies accordingly.
